Safety Engineer

DFM Solutions seeks a Safety Engineer to support industrial and commercial clients with data-driven facility and asset safety strategies. You will assess risk across equipment and operations, design and implement safety programs, and collaborate with maintenance and reliability teams to reduce incidents and lifecycle costs. Responsibilities include safety audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and supporting CMMS workflows. You'll deliver training, develop technical reports, and apply industry standards to help clients achieve safe, reliable, and compliant operations in a collaborative, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess safety risks across industrial and commercial facilities and assets
• Develop and implement safety programs, procedures, and standards
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and incidents
• Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams to improve uptime
• Support CMMS implementation with safety-related data and workflows
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Develop and deliver safety and reliability training to client teams
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for clients
• Use data analytics to track KPIs and drive continuous improvement
• Advise clients on regulatory and industry best-practice compliance
