Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our Maintenance organization as a Tactical Maintenance Planner at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This position plans and develops comprehensive maintenance schedules for assigned aircraft types to include Praetor 500, 600, the Challenger 350 as well as the Gulfstream G450, and G650.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Support development of company Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in forecasting scheduled maintenance requirements
- Ensuring consistency and compliance with the AOP in planning maintenance activities within a 60-day window
- Review aircraft inspection requirements for planning and development of preventative maintenance work-scopes while maximizing aircraft availability and minimizing aircraft downtime
- Identify, plan, and schedule accomplishment of company directed aircraft modifications, refurbishments, and other maintenance for airframes and engines
- Generate work orders detailing the appropriate work-scopes to ensure compliance with the aircraft inspection program
- Ascertain material and tooling requirements for defined maintenance work-scopes and oversee the requisition process
- Perform continued analysis and scheduling of AD's and SB's as applicable to specific fleet type
- Coordinate with the QA department on revisions to the inspection programs for a specific fleet types
- Oversee the production of metrics and operational impact reports
- Conduct monthly planning performance meeting
- Provide assistance to team members during absences and peak workload periods as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 3 years aviation experience required (corporate aircraft experience preferred)
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses (A&P) preferred
- Must possess the legal ability to work in the United States
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
- Basic knowledge of business processes, exceptional organization, and record keeping skills required
- Ability to function effectively independently or as a team member
- Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints
