Structural Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Structural Drafter who will be responsible for producing structural construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD. The role involves creating and maintaining BIM models and coordinating drawings with architects, structural engineers, and MEP disciplines. The ideal candidate will incorporate engineer markups into final documents, participate in project coordination meetings, and perform QA/QC reviews on drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Produce structural construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Create and maintain BIM models
• Coordinate drawings with architects, structural engineers, and MEP disciplines
• Incorporate engineer markups into final documents
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Perform QA/QC reviews on drawings
• Maintain project file organization and drafting standards
• Assist with survey documentation and existing-condition drawings when needed
• Create structural plans, foundation plans, sections, and details
• Develop steel framing drawings and concrete/masonry details
• Assemble construction document packages

Essential

Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of structural drafting experience
• Ability to read and interpret structural calculations, engineer markups/redlines, architectural and MEP drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related structural degree, or equivalent experience
• Two-year associate degree or equivalent five years of structural drafting from on-the-job training

Work Environment:

Our office is located in a brand-new high-rise medical building, occupying the top floor and the floor below. We share this space with our engineering division and offer a professional and collaborative work environment. We have close to 100 people in our office. Enjoy working on a variety of commercial projects that will help you progress towards obtaining your PE license.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
