Job Summary
The Box Office Attendant is responsible for providing information about event locations, seating options, pricing, and assisting guests in selecting the best tickets. The role involves processing ticket orders and collecting payments.
Essential Functions
- Accurately process ticket orders and payments.
- Follow cash handling and inventory procedures to ensure security.
- Greet guests warmly, providing information and assistance.
- Resolve customer concerns with excellent service, escalating issues when necessary.
- Upsell by informing guests about upcoming events.
- Assist coworkers, maintain cleanliness, and foster a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Professional and responsible demeanor.
- Effective decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
