Summary
Guest Services Staff will serve as the primary point of contact for guests at the venue, responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment from entry onwards. They will deliver customer service duties professionally, expertly, and courteously.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer guest questions, direct guests to key areas (restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, concert zones), and assist as needed.
- Operate coat check rooms following established guidelines.
- Scan tickets for entry, administer wristbands for access (21+, VIP, private events).
- Greet guests, resolve complaints, escalate issues as necessary, and monitor conduct to ensure safety. Responsible for responsible alcohol consumption and underage drinking prevention.
- Assist with seating, including ADA accommodations.
- Enforce venue policies, complete required training, and participate in meetings.
- Participate in emergency evacuations, communicating effectively with guests.
- Monitor guest flow during arrivals and departures to comply with safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years related experience preferred.
- Ability to work in various conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
Preferences
- Experience in event settings and knowledge of the music industry preferred.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
