Vos Missions En Quelques Mots
The Community of Communes Châteaubriant-Derval conducts a proactive policy in the cultural fields of visual arts and performing arts (artistic and cultural education, exhibitions, performances) on the intercommunal territory. More than 60 professionals, a conservatory, 26 libraries and media centers, an art gallery, an exhibition hall, numerous projects of Artistic and Cultural Education, several events (Heritage Days, Intercalées, library and media center festival, divas of jazz…) and the programming of an intercommunal itinerant cultural season.
Under the authority of the head of the Cultural Development Service, the person in charge of coordination in the performing arts will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects related to Artistic and Cultural Education and participating in cross-cultural action in the field of performing arts, within the framework defined by the Community. Main duties:
• Artistic and Cultural Education Project Coordination - coordination of Artistic and Cultural Education Pathways (programming, relationship with teachers, structure references and artists), Mediation - conception of mediation tools related to PEAC, - creation and realization of actions and tools for different audiences, - reception of audiences, mediation of projects, - development of audiences and partnerships. Production and management - organization and logistics of PEAC (preparation of material, assembly, disassembly etc) including Little Friday Shows (preparation of material, assembly, disassembly, modalities of reception of artists, route sheets, catering, meals and accommodations, others).
• Cross-cultural Action Coordination of projects - support to the coordination for the performances of the intercommunal cultural season, Heritage Days and Intercalées, - work with partners. Mediation - development of audiences and partnerships, - reception of audiences, mediation of performances and projects. Production and management - support to the organization and logistics on the performances of the intercommunal cultural season, Heritage Days and Intercalées.
• Administration - legal watch, - administrative tasks (budgets, contracts, databases, declarations, mails, sending emails, balances).
• Communication - reference communication for the Cultural Development Service. Occasional duties:
Advice to the services of the community - for the programming of other services.
Profile and required skills:
General skills:
• Ability to coordinate and manage projects,
• Writing and communication skills, mastery of computer tools, PAO and office software,
• Ability to report on its activities. Professional skills:
• Knowledge in the field of performing arts, cultural policies and Territorial Communities,
• Professional watch in performing arts, programming of performances and mediation,
• Sociology of audiences,
• Appétence for mediation, mastery of animation techniques and tools,
• Knowledge of the law in matters of live performance (copyright, security…),
• Skills in technical management and production. Know-how:
• Sense of public service, availability, respect for audiences,
• Team spirit and diplomacy,
• Relationship skills with different audiences, partners (artists, teachers, intermittents of the spectacle etc), hierarchy, colleagues,
• Organization, pedagogy,
• Rigour and discretion. Special conditions:
Direct contact with the public. Travel on the territory. Work from Monday to Friday with participation in meetings and events in the evening and on weekends. Driving license B required. Personal vehicle indispensable.
