Overview
A growing and established IT services organization in the Cleveland area is seeking a Finance & Operations Administrator to join their leadership team. This is a high-impact role partnering directly with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, operational performance, and organizational growth.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in strategic planning, financial oversight, and business development while leading and mentoring internal finance staff.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the President/CEO to support strategic planning, organizational growth initiatives, and stakeholder relationship development
- Assist with identifying new funding opportunities, contract development, and program budgeting
- Provide executive leadership with operating budgets, financial modeling, cost analysis, and performance reporting
- Oversee all fiscal reporting including revenue, expenses, balance sheet reporting, and operational performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, contractual requirements, and audit standards
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and documentation procedures
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk planning
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- Lead financial reporting for executive leadership, Board of Directors, and Audit/Finance Committee
- Support benefits planning, compensation strategy, and employee incentive program development
- Oversee fixed asset tracking, insurance programs, and retirement plan administration
- Evaluate financial impact of potential acquisitions and business expansion opportunities
- Train and mentor finance staff while supporting succession planning and team growth
- Strong background in financial leadership within service-based or project-based organizations (IT or professional services experience highly preferred)
- Expertise with Quick Books Enterprise and/or Quick Books Online
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial compliance requirements
- Experience overseeing full-cycle accounting operations including payroll integration and reporting systems
- Experience working with financial databases and ERP/accounting integrations (dTools experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and present financial insights to boards or senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills
