Manager, Strategic Finance

Our client is seeking a forward‑thinking Manager, Strategic Finance to support enterprise‑level strategy, investment decisions, long‑range planning, and financial modeling across their manufacturing business. Based in Cleveland, OH, this high‑impact role works closely with senior leadership to analyze operational performance, evaluate strategic initiatives, and guide decision‑making with data‑driven insights.

This is a hands‑on, analytically rich role ideal for someone who understands the complexities of manufacturing cost structures, capital planning, and strategic finance.

• Develop advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives, long‑range planning, capital allocation, and scenario analysis
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leadership to evaluate cost structures, productivity drivers, and margin improvement opportunities
• Conduct strategic analyses including pricing, margin optimization, capital investment ROI, and market expansion modeling
• Support corporate development activities such as M&A assessments, synergy modeling, and integration planning (as needed)
• Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategic insights for leadership and board‑level audiences
• Analyze manufacturing performance metrics and turn complex data into actionable recommendations
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to evaluate new products, production capabilities, technology investments, and operational initiatives
• Drive financial rigor, continuous improvement, and better visibility into forward‑looking financial performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, corporate development, or similar roles
• Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytics
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, production economics, and manufacturing performance metrics
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to executives
• Highly analytical thinker with strong business acumen and strategic intuition
