About the RoleOur client is seeking a hands‑on Operations Controller to support strategic initiatives, streamline financial processes, and partner closely with Operations leadership to drive performance across a multi‑site manufacturing organization. You’ll serve as the primary financial partner for Operations, providing insights, forecasts, reporting tools, and data‑driven recommendations to support decision‑making.

What You’ll Do- Partner with Operations leadership to support strategic planning, P&L objectives, and operational improvements
- Develop reporting dashboards and analytical tools that highlight performance, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities
- Establish and strengthen internal controls across accounting and operations
- Contribute to written policies, procedures, and governance processes within the accounting function
- Lead the quarterly reforecasting process, identifying risks and opportunities related to operational performance
- Collaborate across departments including Sales, Purchasing, AP/AR, Production, and Executive Leadership
- Conduct monthly KPI analysis for the Operations unit, including headcount, overtime, yield, productivity, output, and efficiency metrics
- Evaluate cost structure and recommend changes to support financial and operational goals
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- 7+ years of Accounting or Finance experience
- Strong process orientation with ability to plan, organize, and execute complex financial activities
- Experience preparing financial statements, metrics, budgets, forecasts, and analytical reports
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent communication and partnering skills, able to work with finance and non‑finance stakeholders alike
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments
