Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is an on-site, long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing financial operations, including deposits, payments, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate trustworthiness and expertise in handling accounts payable tasks using Quick Books and other financial systems.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage daily deposits, invoices, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.

- Perform accounts payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate coding and payment of invoices.

- Utilize Quick Books and other specialized software to maintain financial records and process transactions.

- Conduct check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments as part of routine operations.

- Collaborate with the team to address discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial policies.

- Maintain secure access to financial systems and uphold confidentiality standards.

- Assist with billing processes and generate reports to support financial decision-making.

- Use platforms and legal-specific software, such as Cleo and Qualia, to perform related tasks.

- Ensure high standards are upheld in all interactions and documentation.

- Support the team by ensuring smooth workflows and efficient financial operations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with Microsoft platforms.

- Knowledge of coding invoices and managing financial transactions, including ACH payments.

- Ability to perform check runs and ensure accuracy in account coding.

- Experience with title or legal software, such as Cleo and Qualia, is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Trustworthiness in managing sensitive financial information.

- Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday in a detail-oriented environment.
