This is a part-time, on-site role for a Tax Preparer at JP Tax Service and Accounting, located in Cleveland, OH. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, reviewing client financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, consulting with clients to provide personalized tax guidance, and staying updated on changes in tax legislation to optimize financial strategies.

• Expertise in Tax Preparation and a strong understanding of Tax Laws and regulations
• Knowledge of Financial Statements and proficiency in Finance-related tasks
• Ability to analyze financial data and apply tax strategies effectively
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ethical conduct
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients professionally
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or Enrolled Agent (preferred)
• Experience working in an accounting or tax preparation role
• Proficiency with tax software and accounting tools
