Salary Range: $48,000.00 To $52,000.00 Annually

Summary

The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for accounting and financial analysis for FIT Technologies, maintaining an internal control environment that protects company property and minimizes risk, and provides support to others within the department and management as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile cash on a daily basis.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis.
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for business and accounting transactions.
  • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and develop solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Investigate variances from prior periods and expectations.
  • Interact with business operations to understand the underlying reasons for changes in financial results.
  • Create documentation for policies and procedures.
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Manage cash disbursements via check, ACH, and wire.
  • Provide support for various special projects, as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).
  • A professional, confident, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
  • Action and detail oriented.
  • Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements and internal controls where necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to: work and adapt in an evolving-priority environment.

Working Conditions +

Physical Requirements

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment. Regular, in-person attendance at FIT Technologies Headquarters during standard business hours is required to perform the essential function of this role. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and participating in in-person meetings. Specific scheduling expectations will be determined by leadership based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work to support meetings, events, or deadlines, occasional work weeks of more than 40 hours.
