Job Overview
A law firm seeks a senior-level tax credit finance associate to join its team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling tax credit transactions and a strong academic background.
Duties- Lead or assist in the initial structuring of tax credit transactions.
- Review financial projections and negotiate business and legal issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity and loan documents and opinions.
- Conduct necessary due diligence and manage projects effectively.
- 7-8 years of relevant law firm experience in historic and new markets tax credits.
- Proven ability to manage all facets of tax credit transactions.
- J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
