Position:
Analyst – FHA Healthcare Underwriting Team
- Provide high‑level qualitative and quantitative analysis of FHA Healthcare transactions.
- Collaborate and support LEAN Underwriters, closers, and originators within CMG.
- Prepare deliverables in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including financial analysis, narrative summaries, corporate reviews, and organizational charts.
- Actively contribute market intelligence and ideas to support the team’s strategy.
- Pursue internal and external relationships to facilitate effective real‑estate transactions.
- Consistently follow established processes and procedures for underwriting real‑estate transactions.
- Work with underwriters, senior underwriters, and originators to analyze deals and determine financial feasibility under HUD rules before client application submission.
- Collect and organize exhibits for pre‑application and firm application packages for HUD/FHA review.
- Complete HUD forms for pre‑application and application submissions.
- Lead transaction processing to ensure timely completion.
- Identify and assess transaction risks, document them in accordance with credit approval, and elevate issues that deviate from expectations.
- Maintain productive relationships with partners and ensure timely disclosure of transaction risks.
- Complete all compliance requirements related to each transaction to minimize risk.
- Provide industry, market, business, and quantitative analysis support.
- Perform ad‑hoc strategic and financial reporting.
- Adopt a continuous‑improvement mindset and recommend efficiencies.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Note:
This is an on‑site position only, with no remote or virtual work. The candidate will be required to work from a Key Bank office in Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, or Dallas, TX.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or real estate.
- 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, real‑estate, investment banking or consulting, including real‑estate finance.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including complex spreadsheets.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to interpret financial data from multiple computer systems.
- Ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data and communicate relevant findings.
- Analytical approach to problem solving with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Proactive and goal‑oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Consultative, service‑oriented mindset.
- Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills.
- MBA.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools.
- Previous experience in the commercial real estate permanent lending industry, specifically with CMBS, Life Insurance lending programs, Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac Program, or FHA.
Standard office equipment (PC, copier, scanner, financial calculator).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase salary range: $69,000.00 – $ annually, with eligibility for incentive compensation such as production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
