Key Bank is an American regional bank. This provides investment management, retail/commercial banking, consumer finance, and investment banking products.

We are seeking a Lead Finance Analyst who will focus on analysis, forecasting, and reporting to drive performance, increase financial transparency, and serve our business clients.

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• 2+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business, or related field
• Experience providing decision support and building client relationships

• Assisting the segment in daily financial management activities
• Coordinating and participating in LOB and product-level financial forecasting and planning
• Leverage ad-hoc financial performance analysis to assist business partners in strategic decision-making and understanding drivers behind profit/loss outcomes
• Maintain and update organizational hierarchy structure (i.e. cost centers, channels, markets) that best reflects the management of the business and facilitates reporting
• Partner with team members, business line leadership, product teams, and finance peers/management in Treasury and Accounting on daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks
• Provide financial guidance and supporting financial evaluations of proposed initiatives and technology investments via the following activities: gathering assumptions, preparing financial projections, and measuring profitability including ROE/ROA/ROBC.
• Provide guidance and act as the liaison between the line of business and selected partners relative to financial performance. Partners include but are not limited to human resources, marketing, credit, technology, accounting, and other LOB segments.
• Provide proactive ideas, advice, and financial modeling for strategic plans, forecasts, performance management, incentive compensation, and product profitability
• Providing accurate and insightful financial reporting, including but not limited to volumes, balance sheet, and income statement drivers

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Access)
• Experience working with financial system reporting environments (i.e. Workday, IBM TM1, Tableau, Oracle Essbase, etc.)

• Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
• Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
• Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy, and details
• Proactive and effective communicator – strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to express opinions and consult with others
• Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross-functional team projects
• Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards achieved – ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
• Strong financial or accounting acumen, incl. analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
