Investment Associate – Capital Markets, Cleveland, OH

Under the direction of the Vice President of Capital Markets, the Investment Associate will play a critical role in the financial evaluation, modeling, and underwriting of multifamily real‑estate investments, as well as capitalization of financing and project closings.

• Underwriting & Market Analysis
  :
  Build and maintain project financial models, underwrite and quantify risks, costs, and value drivers, perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing, analyze macroeconomic and local market conditions, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Capitalization & Financing
  :
  Prepare offering memorandum materials for capital raising, conduct site and market tours with potential capital partners, participate in closing calls and document negotiations, serve as the main point of contact for debt and equity partners, and develop sales‑oriented presentation materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to the Investment Committee.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Accounting (required).
• Experience
  : 1‑3 years in Capital Markets, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, or related field with a focus on multifamily real‑estate preferred; advanced degree an asset.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficient in Excel and financial modeling;
  InDesign experience preferred.
• Personal Attributes
  :
  Excellent communication, presentation experience, detail oriented, highly adaptable, motivated to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Cleveland corporate office with flexibility to work remotely. Candidates must be willing to commute to the office at least 3–4 days per week.

  Minor.
• Other Requirements:
  Completion of an Excel‑based modeling test with a passing grade.
• Salary: $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience.
