We're seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join a rapidly growing, private equity-backed life sciences organization. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys building processes, partnering with executive leadership, and helping organizations scale through growth and transformation.
This role combines strategic finance, controllership, business analytics, ERP implementation, and M&A integration—making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a measurable impact across the business.
What You'll Do- Partner with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and business performance
- Lead controllership activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making
- Serve as the Finance lead for an enterprise-wide SAP ERP implementation
- Support acquisitions through financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Build executive dashboards and reporting that provide actionable business insights
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Collaborate across operations, commercial, IT, HR, and executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong controllership and financial reporting experience
- ERP implementation experience (SAP preferred)
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or business integrations is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical, business partnering, and leadership skills
- Life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing experience is a plus
- High-impact leadership position reporting directly to the CFO
- Significant visibility with executive leadership
- Opportunity to help shape the finance organization during an exciting period of growth
- Exposure to strategic initiatives including ERP transformation and acquisitions
- Hybrid work environment with approximately 15–20% travel
