Position Summary

This position is for the experienced financial professional who loves all things related to financial reporting and is looking to be the point person to manage the daily requests to ensure stakeholder needs are being met.
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis and delivery of financial reporting packages that support the firm's business and strategic decision‑making. The Financial Reporting Manager will combine hands‑on reporting with supervision of the reporting segment's responsibilities to provide timely, actionable analyses and information to support management in improving overall firm performance.
Essential FunctionsThe Financial Reporting Manager will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, along with at least five years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or accounting, including project management responsibilities; law firm experience is preferred. This role requires in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, modeling, and financial statement preparation, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, macros, Power Query, and data manipulation.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and Aderant is highly preferred. The Financial Reporting Manager will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the discretion needed to handle confidential and sensitive information. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to prepare and summarize complex financial data in a clear and concise manner. The position also requires excellent time management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, and a commitment to seeing tasks and projects through to completion, which may occasionally require hours outside the standard work week.
Salary range for this position is $110K to $137K.
Salary ranges are based on the firm's good faith belief at the time of the posting and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that the firm provides to compensate and recognize staff professionals. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
