Commercial Credit Loan Analyst will perform credit analysis, including Loan Presentations and Loan Reviews. This person will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and written assessments of the asset quality of individual risk exposures and overall composite asset quality. In addition, the senior credit analyst will be expected to trend risk and credit risk management practices.
Description Of Duties, Responsibilities And Expectations- Display detailed knowledge of principals of commercial credit, commercial banking laws, bank policy, cost accounting and, financial analysis.
- Create thorough and concise analyses of the risks and mitigates of complex commercial loan requests by reviewing and analyzing the borrower's financial statements, including but not limited to income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, tax returns, personal financial statements, and collateral appraisal reports.
- Prepare sensitivity analyses, cash flows, and assessments of collateral guarantor financial condition.
- Conduct analysis of the market (customers) and industry (competition, suppliers, and potential new entrants) and management teams.
- Participate in the ongoing development of commercial credit policies and procedures that safeguard the Bank.
- Recommend alternative loan structures
- May oversee the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.
- Know and understand Bank/Credit policies and procedures.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time frames.
- To spread the borrowers' financial statement information by use of appropriate software programs. To review financial analysis reports and act as the technical resource for the use of the credit software program.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or credit analysis is required.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is required.
- Experience in financial analysis or credit analysis is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Easy Lender, Cleartouch, OnBase, various government and investor software/web portals is preferred. Credit Quest is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
