Commercial FP&A Analyst Position PurposeJoin our team as a Commercial FP&A Analyst and play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across our Commercial and Sales organizations. In this highly visible role, you’ll provide financial reporting, forecasting, and insights that directly influence revenue growth, pricing strategy, and profitability.
What You’ll Do Financial Planning & Forecasting- Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for commercial and sales performance
- Deliver recurring reporting and consolidate financial results for leadership review
- Analyze key business drivers including volume, pricing, mix, cost, freight, and margin trends
- Assist with month-end close, forecasts, annual budget, and long-range planning activities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to Commercial and Sales teams
- Translate financial and operational data into clear insights, risks, and opportunities
- Provide analysis on pricing, customer profitability, product profitability, freight, rebates, and commissions
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support pricing strategies, customer decisions, and new business opportunities
- Support quoting activities and initiatives that drive profitable growth
- Leverage BI tools and analytics to automate reporting and improve data accessibility
- Enhance data quality, reporting consistency, and process documentation
- Support development of dashboards, margin bridges, and performance reporting tools
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and continuous improvement
- Partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting
- Support business reviews, S&OP processes, and leadership reporting
- Contribute to special projects, ad hoc analysis, and process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with ERP and reporting systems (Oracle, Hyperion, or similar)
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple data sources
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, or Operations finance
- Exposure to pricing, profitability analysis, quoting, or commercial reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Background in manufacturing, cost accounting, or commercial finance
- Experience in automation, process improvement, or digital finance initiatives
