Private Equity Senior Associate - Industrials

Our client is a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on investing in North American industrial businesses. The firm partners with founder- and family-owned companies across sectors such as industrial technology, engineered products, specialty manufacturing, and value-added distribution.

The team is currently expanding and is hiring a Senior Associate to support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities and to help drive value creation initiatives across the portfolio.

This is a hands-on investing role within a lean, collaborative investment team focused on sourcing, executing, and managing investments across a diverse set of industrial subsectors.

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across industrial technology, engineered products, specialty manufacturing, and industrial services.
• Develop clear commercial and investment theses through market research, competitive analysis, and engagement with management teams.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO analyses, operating forecasts, and sensitivity scenarios.
• Lead diligence processes across commercial, financial, operational, legal, and environmental work streams.
• Draft investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior investment professionals and the investment committee.
• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory, preferably with exposure to industrial sectors.
• Strong financial modeling and transaction execution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate businesses, markets, and investment opportunities.
• Experience coordinating due diligence processes and working with external advisors.
