As an Operations Specialist in the Fee Group of AMG Operations Revenue and Financial Services, you will be based in Cleveland, Ohio.
PositionResponsibilities
This role is part of the Fee Unit, which is tasked with calculating and processing fees for services provided by the Asset Management Group to both Institutional and Wealth Management Clients. These fees represent a substantial portion of AMG’s annual revenue. The team also determines fees owed to co-trustees for relevant accounts. The primary responsibilities include setting up new accounts, applying fee schedules, establishing fee cycles, effective dates, fee schedule rates, and ranges, and ensuring accounts are properly configured for accurate calculation of Market Value, Income, and Transaction-based fees.
Additionally, the team maintains existing accounts as directed by the Line of Business and updates coding across multiple systems. Team members perform fee calculations and pr orations using Microsoft Excel and/or Revport, close accounts, document activities in Microsoft One Note, and post fees in the system. Each member is responsible for verifying the accuracy of processing and calculations performed by colleagues and addressing fee-related inquiries via email or phone with the Line of Business.
As experience is gained, team members may also be requested to perform training during the onboarding of new team members.
The ideal candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, critical thinking and analytical abilities, intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including formulas, queries, v-lookups, index matches, and tables), strong problem solving capabilities, the ability to multitask and reprioritize as needed, organizational skills to meet deadlines, effective communication skills, and comfort interacting with individuals across various departments and organizational levels.
Previous experience in fund accounting, sub-accounting, securities, or trust is preferred but not mandatory.

- Provides consultation and advice to internal and external customers. Reviews existing processes, recommends improvements and drives implementation. Serves as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects. Trains and onboards new hires.
