Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
Greater Cleveland, OH | Hybrid | $150K–$210K Base + 20% Bonus
Our client, a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Greater Cleveland area, is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead its FP&A function. Reporting directly to the CFO and leading a team of three, this individual will own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis while improving FP&A processes and reporting.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis
- Consolidate forecasts across business units and improve forecast accuracy
- Analyze revenue, EBITDA, margins, working capital, inventory, and cash flow
- Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership to evaluate financial performance
- Improve and standardize FP&A processes and reporting
- Support reporting and analysis for the CFO, executive team, Board, and private equity sponsor
- 7–12 years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis experience
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly in a multi-site or inventory-intensive environment
- Strong accounting foundation; CPA preferred
- Private equity-backed experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
The company is open to an established Director of FP&A or a strong Manager/Senior Manager ready to step into a Director-level opportunity.
Compensation: $150K–$210K base salary + 20% annual bonus.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Cleveland area.
