County of Kaua’i seeks a Police Services Officer I in a new cadet program. The trainee will receive supervision, training in non-hazardous field and routine administrative work in support of police functions and will prepare for a career in law enforcement.
Responsibilities include handling inquiries, assisting with non-violent detainees, reports, and equipment, supporting emergency management and community outreach, and participating in basic first aid and traffic assistance as needed.
