As a Specimen Processor/Phlebotomist, you will be integral to patient care and laboratory operations, reporting directly to the laboratory manager. Your primary responsibilities will include specimen collection, processing, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. You will utilize your core skills in phlebotomy and medical terminology to provide exceptional patient service and contribute to the efficiency of our clinical laboratory.

• Perform specimen collection and processing in accordance with clinical laboratory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Utilize phlebotomy techniques and medical terminology to support patient care and laboratory operations.
• Provide high-quality patient service in a supportive healthcare environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a specimen processor/phlebotomist required (Phlebotomy certification required upon hire or within 6 months of hire).
• Customer service experience in a service environment.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

• Comfortable handling biological specimens with appropriate PPE.
• Accurate specimen identification; knowledge and training of HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills; high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
