Ohio Guidestone is the state’s leader in community behavioral health care, serving around 26,000 Ohioans each year. We focus on the needs of the whole person by providing telehealth and in-person prevention services, as well as mental health and substance use treatment. We help people navigate difficult times—with compassion and respect—and empower them to take steps toward a healthier future. We have several job openings available for recent graduates with degrees in Social Work or related fields and are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team.
Typesof roles available for your degree area
- Therapist/Counselor (for graduates who have obtained LSW, LISW, LPC and other related licenses. Roles are in a variety of specialized areas for adult and youth. Areas include:
School-Based, In-Home Behavioral, Marriage and Family, Substance Use Disorder/Chemical Dependency, Assertive Community Treatment, and some limited office-based roles. - There are Therapist/Counselor roles in a variety of settings; consider School-Based, In-Home/Community-Based Counseling, and related areas.
- Behavioral Health Specialist
. This role is suitable for grads who have not yet earned a license to perform therapy and is a good entry into the behavioral health field for those with Psychology or related degrees. - Care Coordinator
. These roles help create a supportive care network and connect clients to resources. Community-based roles suitable for individuals with social work degrees or related fields with 1 - 3 years of experience in social services field related to community navigation, wrap-around services or related work. - Youth Care Specialist
. Work directly with youth who may be in care due to behavioral, trauma-based issues or foster placement. These roles are challenging but rewarding for those who are compassionate and resilient.
