Travel Nursing Job Details- Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Stepdown
- Location: Cleveland, OH (On-site, 44195 area) — Enjoy Cleveland’s lakefront, museums, and a vibrant food scene, with plenty to explore on your days off.
- Start Date: 03/30/2026
- End Date: 06/29/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12s
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Orientation: 16 hours; ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing are completed during orientation and require acceptable scores
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250–$2,370/week
- RN Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent RN experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
- Stepdown Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown (or comparable Stepdown) experience (travel experience acceptable)
- License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
- Certifications (required): BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, NIHSS
- Orientation Assessments: Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing during orientation
- References: One current/previous leadership reference (manager/ANM/supervisor/director) in the specialty is required
- Provide high-quality travel RN care to cardiac stepdown patients, including frequent assessments and timely escalation of changes in condition
- Support safe monitoring of stepdown-level patients in collaboration with the care team
- Interpret telemetry and demonstrate strong ECG rhythm recognition to support safe clinical decision-making
- Administer medications safely and accurately in alignment with unit standards, hospital policy, and evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate plans of care, patient education, and discharge readiness
- Document care clearly and consistently to support continuity, patient safety, and quality outcomes
- May float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to support the same patient population, as needed
