- End Date: April 11, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 10 Hour Days (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,600 - $2,790
- Graduate of an accredited Pathology Assistant program
- Current Pathology Assistant certification/license (Ohio state requirements)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pathology Assistant in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
- Ability to complete onboarding requirements including health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD), background checks, and competency exams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens
- Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination and clinical analysis
- Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely specimen processing
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies
- Support the surgical pathology team in daily clinical operations and quality assurance initiatives
