Experience:

Minimum of 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in an acute care setting.
License:
Must have a valid Ohio or compact license in hand at time of submission.

Certifications:

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required.

Must-Have:
- 18 months of permanent experience in a short-term acute care hospital prior to travel.
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
- Required certifications must be active with nothing pending.

Description:

Seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a day shift position.
Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in an acute care setting.
Experience in milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation is necessary.
References must come from supervisory roles within the past 12 months.
All required qualifications are non-negotiable.
Nurses and surgical technology staff are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements.
All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within the past year.
Background checks will be reviewed and the facility will not accept travelers with any open cases.
Candidates may extend their contract upon client approval after an 18 month period.
Candidates must complete all required training modules before starting.
