Position Overview

ViiV is seeking an experienced, results‑driven professional for the position of Community Engagement Account Manager (CEAM). The role requires thriving in a fast‑paced, complex environment, partnering with local community organizations, and developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action‑oriented objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and execute business within the local community to elevate our innovative approach to HIV prevention and treatment.
  • Lead community‑related initiatives that augment territory‑level sales in partnership with matrix teams.
  • Deliver branded and unbranded content targeting Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHCPs) and patients/consumers.
  • Focus on delivering clinical information and the role of a new long‑acting injectable in HIV prevention and treatment to underrepresented populations, allied healthcare providers, and PrEP and Treatment decision‑makers.
  • Passionately deliver promotional activities for the long‑acting injectable in HIV prevention and treatment, engaging communities disproportionately affected by HIV.
  • Engage with social workers, case managers, treatment educators, discharge planners, outreach workers, benefits/implementation administrators, and others in key local organizations such as AIDS Service Organizations, faith‑based, ethnic, and community‑based groups.
  • Provide culturally relevant resources for discussing PrEP and Treatment options available to key customers.
  • Develop strong community networks and establish pathways to PrEP, linkage to care, and treatment outreach for underrepresented populations.
  • Align and execute business plans tailored to the unique needs within a local market to help HCPs scale their prevention and treatment models in partnership with sales.
  • Coordinate, engage, and partner with multiple cross‑functional team members (Sales, Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical) to deliver an integrated product experience.
  • Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops to ensure customers experience a cohesive, integrated ViiV experience.
  • Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals and objectives utilizing KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving.
  • Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably specialty or HIV experience, OR 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community‑based organizations.
  • Ability to travel domestically, including nights, weekends, and overnight travel, with the majority of time spent in the market.
  • A valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Health Policy, or Allied Health fields.
  • Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or treatment; enthusiasm to promote new long‑acting injectables.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action‑oriented objectives.
  • Experience navigating, organizing, and influencing key stakeholders, establishing community networks, and expanding outreach to underrepresented populations.
  • Experience in defining and executing market development strategies.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, analytical ability, business acumen, decision‑making ability, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
