General Nephrologist

The Department of Kidney Medicine within the Medical Specialty Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced general Nephrologist to join our regional practice. The practice involves outpatient clinic visits, hospital rounding at Cleveland Clinic hospitals, and dialysis unit rounding.

The candidate should be interested in high‑quality practice development and leadership to facilitate expansion of our ‘best in class’ program. Home dialysis interest is a plus.

Salary: $291,000 - $426,000. The pay range displayed reflects the anticipated range for new hires and is for 100% full‑time employment. Compensation will be consistent with fair market value and determined after taking into account factors such as work history, experience, skill set, % FTE, and board certification. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement.

The Department has 40 physicians, 25+ advanced practice providers, and 10 fellows treating patients in all subspecialties at over 20 locations in Northeast Ohio. In 2025, we completed more than 25,000 outpatient office and virtual visits and over 30,000 dialysis treatments.
