Job Details
The Filling Pharmacy Technician will work along the conveyor to ensure prescription add‑ons are processed accurately and efficiently. They will also support inventory activities and ensure orders are packaged properly to be shipped out to patients.
Responsibilities- Processing prescriptions at designated filling station located along the conveyor.
- Maintain the accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment.
- Responsible for stocked received pharmacy inventory.
- Maintain filling station cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure filling station is properly stocked at all times.
- Packaging orders to be shipped out to patients.
- Monitor station queues.
- Maintain appropriate level of quality assurance to meet patient needs.
- Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients.
- Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

Education- High school diploma / GED required.
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
- If not registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, must be willing to obtain a registration status upon hire.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy environment, preferred.
- Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Passion to help people and enrich their lives.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.
ScheduleThis is a full‑time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad‑hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
