- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
- Initiate appropriate lab, radiology, and special tests
- Collaborate with healthcare team for quality patient care
- Perform diagnostic procedures and treatments as credentialed
- Educate patients about diseases and treatments
- Ensures continuity of care between patient and multi-disciplinary team
- Experience as an NP in Emergency Medicine
- Current Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) certification
- Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program
- Master’s degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
- License to practice and prescribe issued by the licensing board
- Current DEA License or designee as required by NCQA
Demonstrates expertise in conducting medical histories, performing physical examinations, and executing diagnostic procedures in Emergency Medicine. Holds relevant certifications and licenses to ensure quality patient care and continuity within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
