Job Title: Accounts Receivable Medical Billing Specialist
Pay: 50,000/yr

This opportunity allows you to play an important role in supporting accurate reimbursement, resolving outstanding balances, and helping maintain efficient revenue cycle operations.
In this position, you will manage key billing and accounts receivable functions, including claim review, payment follow-up, and account resolution. You'll collaborate with internal billing and finance teams to improve collections processes, maintain accurate records, and help ensure timely revenue recovery.
What You’ll DoAs a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily AR activities to help maintain accurate account balances and improve payment turnaround
- Applying incoming payments, credits, and adjustments while ensuring financial records remain accurate
- Reviewing denied claims, identifying issues, and assisting with corrective actions to support reimbursement efforts
- Managing a large volume of billing-related tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting productivity goals
- Communicating with insurance carriers and patients to research account questions and resolve outstanding billing concerns
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Minimum of three years of experience supporting medical billing operations, preferably within a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting
- Solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, including claim review, denial resolution, and appeals procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain a solutions-focused approach
- Proven ability to investigate account issues, identify discrepancies, and implement effective resolutions to billing challenges

Schedule:
This position is on-site in the Pepper Pike OH area, and offers standard weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
