Coordinator, Congenital Heart Program

The ACHD Coordiantor is responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. This individual will interact with patients and families, physicians, residents, nurses and other hospital and administrative staff on a regular basis to support the program.

• Responsible to triage all incoming calls to the ACHD program.
• Provides administrative support to the Director of the ACHD program and department.
• Coordinates ACHD outreach programs.
• Coordiantes and maintains appropriate recrds for the ACHD program.
• Oversees the revenue cycle process.
• Schedules and coordiantes appointments and testing for patients.
• Corrdiantes monthly meetings.
• Responsible for data organization, feedback collection and analysis to assist the director in developing benchmarking strategies.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
