Job Details:- Plan, organize, develop, administer, direct, and supervise Occupational Therapy treatment in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards
- Assess patient's level of functioning upon physician orders and implement appropriate treatment based on assessment
- Participate in interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning for each patient
- Complete appropriate documentation according to department policy and procedures
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students
- Assist with new staff orientation and supervise students or other staff members
- Maintain customer service attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff members
- Complete initial evaluations and daily progress notes within defined time frames
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient/family goals
- Attend team conferences and provide pertinent information for patient care
- Follow discharge planning process including equipment recommendations and patient/family education
- Demonstrate safety techniques regarding patient, self, others, and equipment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and budget time effectively
- Must hold valid, current State license
- BLS certification required
- Follow facility guidelines for personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality
