Summary of Job

Responsible for inspecting and cleaning guest rooms while providing great customer service. Accountable for inspecting required number of rooms, making beds as assigned, training housekeepers, changing linens, cleaning toilets, sinks and mirrors. Works with cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment. Ensures that rooms are cleaned to standard operating and quality procedures.

Job Functions /

Physical Requirements
  • Inspects the required number of rooms by shift
  • Assists with scheduling as needed
  • Makes beds, changes linens, cleans toilets, bathtubs, mirrors, floors and sinks
  • Ensures that rooms are cleaned to required quality standards
  • Must have a strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk moderate distances, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs of weight on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform other routine physical activities.
  • Good verbal communication skills; pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Must meet company and client appearance standards.
  • Ability to work with cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Ability to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
