Job Details- Location:
Metro Health Medical Center, Main Campus - Starting Pay: $15 per hour plus tips ($6–$9 per hour in tips)
- Hours:
Weekdays, weekends, all shifts (no experience required) - Shift flexibility:
Many shifts available, select shifts receive bonus pay
- 25%:
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. - 25%:
Greet and acknowledge guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner; use guest last names during interactions. - 10%:
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette; post up in designated areas when not completing tasks. - 20%:
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assist guests with bell services and luggage storage; open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. - 10%:
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provide information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities, as well as main attractions in the area. - 10%:
Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttle guests to appropriate approved locations. - 10%:
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collect claim checks from all guests before issuing keys; maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt. - 5%:
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed; consistently record location on all key tags after parking. - 5%:
Overall, dedicate 100% of the time to these functions.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Valid driver’s license for the state (or within commuting distance).
- One month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to read/write standard English; understand simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide three‑digit numbers and use U.S. currency.
- Ability to understand 24‑hour time system and rates for time passed.
- Manual transmission operation desirable; perform parallel parking.

Work requires frequent sitting or standing for extended periods; running, walking, handling objects, and reaching with hands and arms are common. Employees must comfort in outdoor environments, including extreme heat and cold. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently. Visual skills required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
