About the Role

The Housekeeping Inspector ensures that every guest room and public space meets Method Co.’s elevated standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. This role is detail‑obsessed, guest‑focused, and essential to maintaining the integrity of our brand. The ideal candidate is thorough, organized, and confident in providing constructive feedback to support a high‑performing housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms, suites, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and overall presentation
  • Verify that all cleaning tasks meet brand standards and property‑specific guidelines
  • Document inspection results and communicate corrections clearly and professionally
  • Support training by reinforcing proper cleaning techniques and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with housekeeping leadership to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure guest amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and displayed
  • Report maintenance concerns promptly and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Assist with hands‑on cleaning tasks during peak periods or special projects
  • Uphold safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols at all times
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; inspection or supervisory experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear, supportive feedback
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, and extended periods of walking or standing
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Working Conditions/Environment:
  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • Agility in executing fast‑paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
