Job Title:
Benefits and Leave Administrator
Location:
Cleveland, OH 63049 (Onsite)
Duration: 06+ Months Contract (High possibility of extension or perm)
Position Overview
The Benefits and Leave Administrator is responsible for end-to-end administration of employee benefits and leave programs across the organization. This role serves as the subject matter expert for benefits systems, vendor coordination, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, highly employee-centric, and experienced in managing benefits and leave in a multi-state environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer all benefits and leave programs, including federal, state, and company-provided leave
- Manage leave cases, claims submissions, compliance documentation, and accurate data tracking
- Serve as primary point of contact for benefits vendors and carriers, ensuring accurate enrollment and EDI/ADI file feeds
- Manage benefit deductions and system configurations within ADP Workforce
- Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity between HRIS and vendor systems
- Provide employee support for benefits, leave, and claims-related inquiries
- Conduct benefits education sessions including open enrollment, new hires, and refresher trainings
- Support integration of benefits and leave processes for acquired companies
- Build and enhance HRIS workflows to improve automation and efficiency
- Maintain clear communication with employees, managers, and payroll teams regarding leave and return-to-work timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of benefits and/or leave administration experience
- Experience supporting 1,500+ employees in a multi-state environment strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce required
- Hands-on experience working with benefit carriers, EDI/ADI file feeds, and benefit deductions
- Advanced Excel skills required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
