TheOpportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Talent Specialist to join our team and play a key role in attracting, assessing, and securing top talent for our organization. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, source and engage candidates, and guide them through the recruitment process. The ideal candidate is passionate about people, highly organized, and committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience while supporting the company’s growth and talent strategy.
WhatYou’ll Do Essential Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles across the organization (Healthcare, H.O.P.E. Campus, Crisis Receiving Center (CRC), Workforce, and Early Learning)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms to attract top talent
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews
- Attend in‑person and virtual job/career fairs
- Provide support or coverage to other HR Team members as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Two to three years of strong recruiting experience with proven track record sourcing candidates and maintaining a candidate pipeline across multiple functional areas
- Considerable skill in interviewing techniques and creative writing ability
- Third‑party recruiting experience, particularly in the healthcare or education fields
- Experience utilizing social networking for recruiting purposes, and familiarity with platforms such as Linked In, Indeed, and Handshake
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to speak and hear regularly, sit for extended periods, and use hands and fingers to operate computer equipment. Travel and work outside of normal hours may be required for meetings, presentations, trainings, and career fairs.
