Pay:$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team at our headquarters location in Beachwood, OH. In this vital role, you will support various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive workplace environment while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) tools such as Indeed
  • Coordinate employee orientation sessions and facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires
  • Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by gathering data and maintaining accurate records
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act)
  • Maintain HRIS systems like Paylocity to ensure data accuracy and streamline workforce management processes
  • Handle data collection and entry related to employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to HR projects such as affirmative action planning, succession planning, and organization design initiatives
  • May be asked on occasion to assist at neighboring Cleveland Dental Institute locations
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles within HR environments
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing strategies and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms; experience with payroll systems like Paylocity is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills and organizational abilities
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check is required

Physical Requirements
