SQL Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Develop and deploy BI solutions using tools such as Qlik Cloud, SSRS, or other reporting platforms.
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all BI and data warehousing processes, including data flow diagrams, code documentation, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and tune data warehouse performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes, architecture, and data models.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing, and monitoring procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse issues to ensure continuity and reliability.
• Stay current on emerging data technologies and best practices in business intelligence and data warehousing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, Data Engineer, or in a similar technical data role.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Experience with ETL tools such as AWS Database Migration Service.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, etc).
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
