Overview
As a Senior Manager, E‑Commerce Platform Operations, you will be critical in overseeing the daily performance, stability, and functionality of the company’s website and commerce platform. You will lead a team of Platform Operations Specialists, ensuring operational excellence, strong integrations, and adherence to service-level expectations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Development, UX, Product, and global stakeholders to drive platform enhancements, optimize scalability, and enhance the user experience.
You will also maintain rigorous documentation and ensure all operations meet security, compliance, and accessibility standards.
- Oversee daily operations of the website and commerce platform, ensuring strong performance, stability, and seamless integration with systems like Salesforce, CMS, and OMS.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Platform Operations Specialists, setting priorities and ensuring performance goals and SLAs are met.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and drive timely resolution to minimize disruptions.
- Partner with Development, UX, and Product teams to implement enhancements, optimize scalability, and improve overall user experience.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact and collaborate with global/regional stakeholders, providing regular performance updates to leadership.
- Maintain thorough operational documentation and ensure adherence to security, compliance, data protection, and accessibility standards.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 8 or more years of experience managing digital platform operations or related technical environments, or in lieu of degree 13 or more years of experience managing digital platform operations or related technical environments.
- Experience leading a team in a platform operations or engineering context.
- Hands on experience with Salesforce platforms and microservices-based integrations.
- Experience with e-commerce systems or order management.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
