Required Qualifications:- Rising juniors graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, and related coursework by May 2028
- Outstanding academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.5 preferred)
- Strong accounting and/or financial acumen
- Strong technical skills in SQL and/or Python coding languages
- Good analytical and decision‑making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Relevant work or internship experience
- Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Capital Markets front office trading systems & analytics interns will gain first‑hand experience of Capital Markets businesses, including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives. Regular interaction with sales and trading desks and Broker/Dealer support departments, which include Accounting, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Risk.
This position supports existing technologies which are used to manage market data information, process trades, reconcile business activities, and analyze business datasets to identify new trading opportunities. On‑the‑job training of brokerage technologies, performance reporting, and development provided. Experience with business intelligence tools and strong understanding of relational databases preferred.
Support research innovation through the creative and aggressive experimentation of new data environments, software, processes, procedures, and methods.
Business & client reporting, data maintenance and ad hoc analysis - which entails creating, managing, and supporting analytics and dashboarding using Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, and other enterprise database systems. Ad hoc analysis is frequent and data maintenance is critical for accurate reporting and trading decisions.
Experience/Interest in the following is a required:- Business intelligence tools (BI tools – like Tableau, SAP, MS Access, Cognos)
- Programming and statistical languages (SQL, Python, R, Visual Basic, Pandas/Numpy/Scikit‑Learn)
- Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, large datasets, machine learning, web development incl. real‑time data handling and visualization, and Agile
- Experience or interest in trading systems
- Manipulating or interpreting data
