AWS Databricks Architect
We are seeking an experienced AWS Databricks Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will lead architecture decisions, drive best practices, and ensure robust, secure, and high‑performing data solutions leveraging Databricks on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Key Responsibilities- Design and architect end-to-end data and analytics solutions on AWS using Databricks
- Define data lakehouse architecture
, data modeling strategies, and governance frameworks - Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost‑efficiency of Databricks workloads
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Establish security, compliance, and best practices across the data platform
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
- Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture
- Hands‑on expertise with Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Workflows)
- Proficiency in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and big data technologies
- Experience with Python / SQL / Spark
- Deep understanding of data lakehouse concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and performance tuning
- Experience designing high‑availability and scalable systems
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / Data Analytics)
- Experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation)
- Exposure to BI/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
