The Lead Solution Architect provides technical leadership for designing and implementing large-scale manufacturing and ERP-integrated system architectures. This role ensures manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems integrate seamlessly with the broader enterprise IT ecosystem.

This position plays a critical leadership role in ERP modernization initiatives, including consolidation from Oracle 11i to Oracle Fusion, and requires deep understanding of manufacturing data models, supply chain workflows, and multi-cloud integrations.

You will evaluate business and technical challenges, design scalable architectural solutions, and guide cross-functional teams through implementation while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

The primary objective of this role is to architect and support manufacturing and supply chain integrations within Oracle Fusion and related systems.

• Understanding Oracle Fusion interfaces and underlying data models
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing quality and supply chain workflows
• Mastery of core ERP data structures, including:
  • Inventory transfer processes
  • Ability to trace end-to-end product movement (e.g., understanding where a product is manufactured, how it is sourced, how inventory is transferred, and how data flows across systems)
  • Supporting the BIOS project: consolidation of ERP systems from Oracle 11i to Oracle Fusion

• Lead architecture design for manufacturing and supply chain system integrations
• Architect solutions supporting Oracle Fusion manufacturing, purchasing, and planning modules
• Design and oversee integrations using:
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for data extraction and interface orchestration
  • Azure Service Bus for cloud-to-on-prem and inter-system messaging
  • Support quality systems hosted in AWS
  • Architect solutions across a multi-cloud environment, including AWS, Azure, and on-prem infrastructure (Akron data center)
  • Ensure seamless integration between cloud platforms and on-prem manufacturing systems
• Lead development of application components and system integrations aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards
• Establish architecture governance, best practices, and technical standards
• Evaluate emerging technologies and guide adoption decisions
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable

• 8+ years of experience in IT or Solution Architecture (Lead-level experience required)
• Proven experience designing complex ERP and manufacturing system integrations
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion data models and interfaces
• Experience with supply chain, manufacturing quality, and inventory management systems
• Experience operating in multi-cloud and hybrid data center environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR 10+ years of relevant IT experience

• Oracle Fusion (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning modules)
• AWS (including quality system integrations)
• ERP modernization and migration strategy (Oracle 11i → Oracle Fusion)
• Data modeling and master data management (Item Master, sourcing, inventory flows)
• Web services, APIs, Microservices, SOA
• Data warehousing and ETL
• Architecture governance and standards
• SDLC and system integration best practices
• Change management

• Experience with planning tools such as Blue Yonder, o9, or Kinaxis
• Experience with cloud-based Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Advanced architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP)
