Plan To Produce / PP Job Description:

We are looking for a senior SAP PTP (Plan to Produce) Solution Architect/Lead to focus on designing and delivering PTP business processes and ensuring seamless integration with multiple homegrown systems. The candidate will act as the on-site liaison for client stakeholders, working closely with business, IT, and offshore delivery teams to manage requirements, UAT, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and delivery of Plan To Produce processes in S/4
  
  HANA including:
• Production Planning (MRP, capacity planning, planning strategies)
• Production Execution (shop floor control, confirmations, back flushing)
• Order Management (production/process orders, discrete and repetitive manufacturing)
• Inventory movements and goods receipts
• Work with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, QM, EWM) to ensure end-to-end Plan To Produce integration.
• Drive requirement workshops and prepare functional specifications (RICEFW).
• Review and validate retrofit changes and ensure UAT readiness.
• Act as the primary on-site point of contact for business and IT stakeholders; manage escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide oversight for offshore delivery teams; assign and track progress of Plan To Produce-related deliverables.
• Support UAT execution, defect management, and cutover activities.
• Document Plan To Produce processes and integration of touchpoints for long-term sustainability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support business in adopting best practices (e.g., Clean Core, Fiori apps, BTP extensions).

Required Skills

• 8+ years in SAP PP/Plan To Produce and at least 5+ years in S/4
  
  HANA.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, planning strategies, production execution, and order types.
• Hands-on integration experience with SD, MM, FI/CO, and understanding of QM/EWM touchpoints.
• Exposure SAP BTP/CPI integrations and ability to work with technical teams to troubleshoot flows.
• Prior to UAT execution and cutover management experience.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead onshore offshore delivery model.
