You will be a hands-on IT Manager responsible for leading and executing the company's technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational ownership in a lean IT environment.
You will develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business objectives while serving as the primary technology point person across the organization. This includes ERP leadership and oversight, infrastructure management, cybersecurity enhancement, and enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
This is a direct-hire position in Cleveland, OH

RESPONSIBILITIES- Hands-on IT Manager responsible for network admin/support, ERP management, vendor & MSP management, and general IT support
- Develop & execute multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business strategy
- Assess current technology landscape and define future‑state architecture
- Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership
- Lead ERP selection, implementation, optimization, and enhancements
- Serve as internal owner / strategic lead for ERP systems
- Partner with Finance, Ops, Supply Chain, and HR to define system requirements
- Oversee ERP integrations, data migration, testing, go‑live execution, and post‑implementation improvements
- Ensure ERP scalability to support growth & acquisitions
- Oversee network architecture, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs
- Maintain AD, server environments, and endpoint management
- Ensure uptime / performance of mission‑critical systems
- Maintain DR & BCP plans
- Continuously assess & enhance cybersecurity posture
- Implement & maintain cybersecurity frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS, or ISO standards
- Oversee endpoint protection, monitoring tools, and access controls
- Lead incident response planning & execution
- Define internal versus outsourced IT responsibilities and manage MSPs / 3rd party providers
- Develop & manage annual IT operating & capital budgets
- Negotiate vendor contracts & software licensing agreements
- Lead enterprise‑level projects including cloud migrations, cybersecurity upgrades, and infrastructure modernization
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, KPIs, and ensure on‑time/on‑budget delivery
- Drive change management & cross‑functional alignment
- Provide executive‑level reporting on IT performance & initiatives
- Supervise IT staff, assign responsibilities, and provide mentorship / performance management
- Support acquisitions & post‑merger integrations, as needed
- 5+ years as a hands‑on IT Manager or IT Director
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience
- Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO)
- Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution
- Experience leading enterprise‑level technology projects
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience in a $50MM–$250MM revenue org
- Experience in a private equity‑backed company
- Experience supporting acquisitions & post‑merger integrations
- Bachelor's Degree
