Paid Internship in the Department of Technology. Saint Ignatius High School seeks a Technology Intern to support its campus network across academic and support buildings. The internship runs year‑round for two years, with 30–40 hours per week during the summer (8:00 am–4:00 pm) and 16–24 hours per week during the school year, with flexibility around college classes and required evenings/weekends. The intern will report to the Supervisor of Technology.

Desired start date:
As soon as possible. Salary range: $13.75 /hour.

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of classroom and office technology, including computers, printers, Smartboards, projectors, wireless access points, Apple TVs, and other equipment.
• Respond to user requests and help‑desk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and train end‑users.
• Install and update software for computer carts and labs, including imaging.
• Assist with cyber, switch, firewall, router, wireless, and server updates.
• Participate in school events, often scheduled evenings and weekends.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Technology or other supervisory personnel.

• Open to college students enrolled and actively pursuing a 4‑year degree, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5. (Your schooling comes first.)
• Also accepts part‑time students committed to a degree program.
• Solid communication skills, results‑oriented, and mission focused.
• Flexible, responsive, and willing to work evenings and weekends.
  
  Physical requirements:
  
  use of ladders indoor and out, lift 50 lbs. overhead.
• Self‑sufficient, independent, minimal administrative support.
• Aptitude for learning new applications and skills; ability to critique own work and seek help for complex issues.
• Punctual, industrious, and professional demeanor.
• Program funds training for A+ certification.
